Eric G. Derry, a third generation Vermonter, entered the practice of law in 2008. He is involved in a variety of civil litigation as well as commercial and corporate law.
Attorney Derry graduated from the University of Vermont in 2003 and Vermont Law School in 2008. While at Vermont Law School, Attorney Derry served as a research assistant for the Dean of Academic Affairs where he aided in revising a casebook and teachers' manual on federal estate and gift taxes. He assisted in preparing a constitutional challenge to Vermont's genetic testing procedures while clerking for the Prisoner's Rights Division of the Vermont Defender General. He also has experience in real estate transactions, including title examinations and document preparation, gained through his second year clerkship with a South Burlington, Vermont law firm.
Attorney Derry is an avid cross-country runner, downhill skier and snow boarder, and mountain bike enthusiast. He resides in Norwich, Vermont with his wife, Liz.
