Barry Schuster has been practicing business, real estate and municipal law since 1978. A trial lawyer with thirty years of experience, he has tried many cases to both juries and judges. His practice involves representing companies and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes including: land use, employment, construction, real estate and other business matters. Attorney Schuster regularly appears before municipal boards, litigates in New Hampshire and Vermont trial courts, and has appeared in more than twenty appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court. He has also served for many years as a superior court mediator in which he has assisted parties to resolve cases.
Attorney Schuster is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Vermont Bar Association and the Grafton County, N.H. Bar Association.
Attorney Schuster graduated from Brown University in 1973, Villanova University School of Law 1978, and also pursued a year of advanced study at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in 1986-1987.
Attorney Schuster actively participates in a number of civic and community organizations. He was elected to three terms on the Lebanon School Board and chaired the Board for three years, has served on boards for several health care organizations and bank advisory committees. An active parent-volunteer in a wide range of academic and athletic school activities, he is also a fair guitar player and an amateur cyclist, taking bike trips around northern New England, but also recently completed a bike trip from Vienna to Prague with his daughter.
